Bruce Alfred Hafner
(March 8, 1960 - June 19, 2012)

Bruce Alfred Hafner, beloved husband of Lynne Hafner and loving father of Cory and Kyle, of Moosomin, Saskatchewan, passed away at Southeast Integrated Care Centre, Moosomin, on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the age of 52 years.

Bruce Alfred Hafner was born on a stormy March 8, 1960 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan to Lucy and Morley Hafner. Bruce and his sister Donalda were raised on the family farm at Red Jacket, Saskatchewan. He went to school in Moosomin and graduated in 1978. After school he went to work at an Allis Chalmers dealership for a bit until he got a job at IMC Esterhazy. He stayed at IMC for a couple of years and then was able to get a job at PCS Rocanville in February 1981. In 1993 he married Lynne and they had two sons, Cory and Kyle. He was so proud of his family, they were his life! He loved to watch his boys play hockey in the winter and could not wait for the spring to start so he could watch them play ball. When he was not watching the boys in sports, he liked to hunt or head out to the golf course and play a couple of rounds. In January 2002, he became a Millwright and transferred to Outside Utilities and up until his passing always said he would never leave that crew. He enjoyed the work and especially his co-workers. He loved a good laugh and loved to make people laugh. His sense of humour was like no other. We will miss you!!

Funeral service from the Moosomin Convention Centre on Sunday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Allan Lautamus officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to a trust fund for Curtis Offet C/O Conexus Credit Union.
